RUNK & PRATT

SCHOOL OF NURSING INSTRUCTION

At Runk & Pratt Senior Living Communities, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are the heart of our day-to-day operations. They are often the first face that our residents see each morning, and the last they see before going to sleep each night. The constant friendly interactions with residents help brighten their days and make Runk & Pratt a wonderful experience for everyone. However, it is the hard work and diligence of our CNAs that help keep our communities running smoothly.

CNAs report important and often crucial resident condition information to our nurses. Other responsibilities may include taking and recording residents’ vital signs, documenting a resident’s health status, cleaning rooms and bed linens, basic first aid, helping with meals, and much more. While the CNA position may be physically and mentally demanding, it is an incredibly rewarding position because of the lasting relationships you will build with coworkers and residents.

GRADUATE TO OPPORTUNITY

At Runk & Pratt, we find it important for our staff to have only the best training available, which is part of the reason we offer this nursing instruction program. At the end of the course, and after you have obtained your CNA license from the Virginia Board of Nursing, we are willing and excited to consider our students for any open CNA positions we may have at our Runk & Pratt Senior Living Communities, given you submit an application.

Because we value continued education, Runk and Pratt will assist in enrollment in a Registered Med Aide class once the CNA program is complete.
